Re-elect Krista Keating Joseph County Commissioner, District 4
A defining moment: I waved a flag and said a few words about "hope" in the upcoming election, never predicting it would lead to accusations of breaking the law and a historic First Amendment ruling in my favor. I've been called "divisive," but I wasn't elected to sing Kumbaya with those who are overdeveloping our county and then sending us the bill for it.
I love this county and all that is has to offer. My top concern from day one has been the unbridled growth that has created serious traffic congestion and overcrowded classrooms, including portables that are not optimal for learning and are frankly, unsafe.
When my beloved husband Ron campaigned by my side in 2022, never did I imagine that he would soon be diagnosed with ALS and I would say good-bye to him in less than four years. I'm grateful for every moment that we had together, and for his wisdom when he urged me, in his final days, to run for a second term.
